1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging SLM Salinas Masonry for any masonry services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers, whether residential or commercial, and govern the relationship between you and our company. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with our services.
2. Services Provided
SLM Salinas Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney work, tuckpointing, stone veneer installation, paver walkways, retaining walls, and custom masonry projects. All work is performed by licensed and insured contractors in compliance with California state and local building codes.
3. Estimates and Pricing
We provide free estimates for all projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue and may be subject to change if project scope, materials, or site conditions differ from the initial assessment. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Payment terms will be outlined in your project contract.
4. Project Timeline
We provide estimated project timelines based on scope and weather conditions. While we strive to meet all deadlines, masonry work can be affected by rain, extreme temperatures, material delivery delays, and unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.
5. Changes to Project Scope
Any changes to the original project scope must be agreed upon in writing by both parties. Additional work or material upgrades may result in adjusted pricing and timeline. We will provide a revised estimate before proceeding with any changes.
6. Permits and Inspections
For projects requiring permits, we will obtain necessary approvals from local authorities at the start of the project. Permit fees are typically included in your estimate unless otherwise noted. We coordinate all required inspections and ensure work meets code requirements.
7. Warranty
We stand behind our work with a one-year warranty on labor and craftsmanship. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by settling, earthquakes, severe weather, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others. Material warranties are provided by manufacturers and vary by product.
8. Liability
SLM Salinas Masonry carries comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage to underground utilities not marked by appropriate authorities. We take reasonable precautions to protect your property during all work.
9. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your project before work begins with written notice. If materials have been ordered or work has commenced, you may be responsible for costs incurred up to the cancellation date. We reserve the right to cancel a project if site conditions are unsafe or if payment terms are not met.
